Everest Base Camp Tour

Traveler's who are keen to visit Tibet Everest Base Camp (North side) combining with Lhasa and other highlighted places of Central Tibet are welcome to join this tour. You will  fly to Lhasa, where you spend two days for sightseeing tour. After Lhasa, we take a Jeep tour to Everest Base Camp via Gyantse and Shigatse, which are the most highlighted places in Tibet.

Glimpse of Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu (1,300 m) - Lhasa (3,650 m)
Fly Trans - Himalayan flight to Tibet (Gongaar airport) (1 hr.) - Drive to Lhasa (2 hrs.) - Full rest for acclimatization - Hotel. 

Day 02: In Lhasa 
Visit Potala Palace. Visit Jokhang Temple & Barkhor Bazaar - Hotel.

Day 03: In Lhasa
Visit Drepung Monastery. Visit Sera Monastery - Hotel. 

Day 04: Lhasa - Gyantse (3,950 m) 26km
Drive to Gyantse via Yamdroke Lake and high passes: Karo La (5,010 m) & Kamba La (4,794 m) - Hotel in Gyantse. 

Day 05: Gyantse - Xigatse (3,900 m) 90 km
Sightseeing in Gyantse including Phalkor & Kumbum Monasteries, etc. Scenic drive to Xigatse (2 hrs) through the typical Tibetan countryside - Hotel. 

Day 06: Xigatse - New Tingri (4,100 m) 270 km
Visit Panchen Lama's Tashilhumpu Monastery, Drive to Tingri crossing over Gyatchu La (a pass of 5,220 m) - Hotel.

Day 07: New Tingri - Rongbuk (4,980 m) Aprox. 120 km
Scenic drive to Rongbuk through the beautiful Tibetan countryside. Explore Rongbuk Monastery ( highest monastery in the world). Guesthouse. 

Day 08: Explore Everest BC/Rongbuk (5,150 m) 8 km
Drive to Everest BC and explore BC with the highest peak right in front of you as if communicating with you have been able make it to the base camp of the Mt. Everest - Camp / Guesthouse. 

Day 09: Rongbuk - Nyalam (3,700 m) 
Drive back to Nyalam / Zhangmu by over crossing the Lalung La Pass (5,050 m) from where one can enjoy the magnificent view of the Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201 m) and Mt. Sishapagma (8,212 m) being dwarfed by the height of the Tibet itself - Hotel / Guesthouse. 

Day 10: Nyalam / Zhangmu - Kathmandu
After necessary border formalities, scenic drive to Kathmandu through the beautiful countryside of Nepal (4-5 hrs) - Transfer to your hotel.
